Angela Evelyn Bassett is an American actress. Angela Evelyn Bassett is an American actress. Bassett, who was raised in Winston-Salem North Carolina by her aunt after being born at New York New York, is a well-known actress. Bassett moved with her sister to St. Petersburg Florida at five years old so that they could be near their mom as she was divorced from her father. Bassett when she was in high school, saw John Steinbeck's production Of Mice and Men with James Earl Jones and she was inspired to be an actor. The year was 1980 and Bassett graduated from Yale University New Haven Connecticut with a degree in African American studies. She also received a degree from The Yale School of Drama. She dated Courtney B. Vance, a fellow actress at Yale and they married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. the Yale School of Drama conferred a Master of Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Bassett in the year 1980. She was a student at the school following: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for seventh graders, Azalea Middle School for 8th and 9th grades as well as Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett, who plays Ramonda the female lead in the action adventure film I. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022).
